The doctor released Tom today at 5pm. His liver enzyme levels are stable. He will now resume his daily visits to the infusion center from 8am - 2pm beginning tomorrow.
He's glad to be out but he seems sort of distant. I don't know if he's worried about having to go back again or if he's just tired.
We pulled into Steak 'n Shake on the way home so he could get some food he's been craving - a steak burger w/ swiss and a chocolate milkshake. He took a fall in the driveway while getting out of the car, skinned up his arm, and the milkshake went flying. He's ok and I got him another milkshake.

A long time coming. Enjoy the homestead! Well done Tom (and Lisa)!
Tom, great that you are home! We are thinking about you, Lisa, and Katie. Let me know if you are up for some online TF at some point.
Stay strong!
Will
This is really good news! Like getting out of jail but having to report to your parole officeer, only Tom hasn't done anything wrong . . . maybe things will settle down a bit and the storm clouds will slowly diminish and then dissipate completely. Tom is probably in shock, which is maybe a reason he would be seemingly distant. Well, I'm no doctor but I deal with enough fo them . . . Tom needs a good soak in a hot tub to wash the hospital away.
Welcome Home Tom!!!!!!
Love,
Chris
AHHH....How wonderful it must feel to be back at home. Congrats Tom! I'm happy for all of you. Take it easy now and try to relax some.
Love ya,
