I've talked to Tom a few times over the phone today and he sounds much better. I can tell he still dozes off when we are talking though because I have to repeat myself and talk louder sometimes to get his attention.
I've decided to stay home today to spend time with Katie. I've been handing her off quite a bit lately and I felt the need to have a full day with her. It's very tough to make that decision. I feel like a rubber band sometimes, stretching myself to try and be in two places and satisfy two people who need me. So with that being said I refuse to let any guilt spoil my day with Katie.
I think both of my parents are planning on visiting him sometime today. I'll see my Tommy tomorrow at the crack of dawn.
