BMT Clinic

Today was the first day for treatment at the bone marrow transplant clinic. The appt lasted six hours beginning at 7am. That same schedule will continue daily until further notice. Fortunately Tom sits in a recliner with his own personal tv which has cable and headphones - he also has the things he brings from home which include his computer (w/ DVD player), Ipod, cell phone, and magazines. He has quite a bit to keep him busy, including napping, but it has to be difficult sitting in the same spot for six hours every day of the week. Wow, that actually sounds like a cubicle job but with fun electronics and naps. Tom would much rather be at work though. He misses everybody at the office. They are wonderful people who have done so much for us that we never expected.
