Once again, Tom is home!

It's absolutely baffling how quickly Tom can recover from a serious downturn.

Tom was released from the hospital yesterday afternoon. The doctors think his symptoms showed signs of a stroke but the MRI did not confirm that. What's important is that he looks sooo... much better. His color is back, he's able to walk with a cane, he's exercising a little, staying awake most of the day, eating regularly, and his hair is growing back fast. Oh - and the most obvious sign that he's doing well? He's been on the laptop continuously for the last five hours - now that's the Tom I know. I'm on the computer in the basement because I don't want him to stop. I love it!

this is great news Lisa and Tom! Norma will be coming to see you in a week (and hopefully bring something that Tom can eat.)
This roller coaster you all are on should straighten out over time. I just wish they could give our Tom a magic potion and cure this once and for all. Did they tell you what went wrong this time that put him back in there for 3 or 4 days?

I'm thrilled Tom is doing so well. Are you guys still sane???? What a roller coaster! Of course, this is a wonderful change and I pray for nothing but continuous improvement.
Love ya!

Tom and Lisa:

That's great news! Thanks for sharing both the ups and downs. Even when you don't hear from me know that my thoughts and prayers are with you two (and Katie).

Lisa,
Since Tom has chicken legs, do you think he will be offended if we bring him some chicken wings?
