Drum roll please................

The results from Tom's marrow biopsy showed NO signs of cancerous cells! Yea Tom!

He's still on a strong mission to make some changes to his pill regimen. The doctors - oncologist and infectious disease MD - and are in "discussion" and will meet with Tom next week to further discuss his plea for drug modification.

Tom has an appointment with a neurologist on Friday. He wants to review Tom's drug list and discuss his side effects. Maybe this doctor will have some answers as to what the heck is going on.

He's keeping up his physical therapy exercises and doing them with less and less assistance.

Oh yeah, I forgot to wish you luck with the neurologist. I'm sure he will be able to give you answers to alot of your questions. Add his interpretations with the other guys and let's hope the missing piece falls into place.

Then, we can really get this show on the road and get down to eatin' some serious groceries. Lawd, lawd, I can't be standing on my feet frying chicken for hours on end if you just take one bite and push it away. (You know I'm playing around) Tell the neuro man you need your tasters back damnit! We got biscuits to make!

Okay, I'll quit. Hang tough. Be relentless.

Love,hugs,
Elise

This is the happiest news the Carter household has heard since this saga began . . . what a great week this is!!!
Even though Tom isn't out of the woods yet, he has cut down most of the trees and is rebuilding his house. And what a msnsion it is going to be now that the building blocks are beginning to stick together.
Congratulations, Tom! Your fan club is praying for all good things to come your way. We just have to fatten you up so tell the docs that the most important part of balancing your medications is in getting you back to eating normally. After that, the exercise will bring your strrength back. What a strong minded guy!!!
