This is a MAJOR event in Tom's recovery process. Let's hear it for Tom!
The "100 day mark", which is 100 days post-transplant, is generally considered a milestone - by this time, the patient is considered past the worst of the procedure and on the path to recovery. Full recovery is slow, with it taking up to two years for the patient to return to full health. - NCI

Wow, must seem more like a hundred years to you all. But like they say in The Godfather, "Cendane", or "One Hundred more years".

We went to see Sir Tom today and wouldn't you know, we forgot the chocolate shake. Tom likes them made with high quality vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup, from a good ice cream place (note to self . . . find a Brewsters or Baskin Robbins or Coldstone Creamery).
Tom is looking so much better than 9 days ago when we visited. We had no idea it was his 100th day, wow, we would have sung Christmas Carols or something.
Tom is back to designing artwork, showed us the shirts with logos/graphics he designed this week on the computer. Amazing how upbeat and motivated he is now.
Can't wait for him to get the flip out of there.
Yeahhhhhhhhh! Recovery is a bear, but the alternative isn't at all attractive.
Congratulations, Tom!
WOOHOO! Cannot be long, dear Tom, until Outback is rolling out the red carpet!!!
You're a fighter, and you couldn't ask for a more lovely guardian angel (that's you, Lisa, in case you didn't know!! ;) ).
Love you guys!

Wow - you have come so far, Tom. Keep on chugging along, you are getting there and you sound just GREAT on the phone! And to my sister (Wiizii) who is supposed to be smarter than me you can say "Hell Yeah" if you spell "yeah" correctly. Now I can say, "Hell Yeah!" Just picking. Love ya, Erin
