Tom's a little more alert today (he looks so much better with his glasses on, doesn't he?). He stills sleeps 95% of the time and reaches for and talks to imaginary people and objects.
He has to have a sitter 24/7 because they are concerned for his safety. He really stays in a daze. He pulls at the tubes hanging out of his chest cathetar and he's unsteady when he gets up to go to the bathroom. He doesn't bother calling the nurse for help so now they've arranged for someone to sit next to him nightly from 7pm - 7am. Then a family member or friend sits between 7am - 7pm.
