Our Christmas tree is still up, as are all the decor around the house. I used to believe that it was bad luck to keep your tree up past New Year's Day, but really??? Maybe it's bad luck to take it down. Call me a pessimist but I don't get excited about fortune cookies, finding pennies face-up on the pavement, lucky numbers, etc.
Anyway, on a happier note Tom is doing fine. We're having a snow day and enjoying our fire in the fireplace, pajamas, hot chocolate, and laptops. Tom looks and feels good - his hair looks darker, his face is pinkish, and he's motivated. He actually seems well enough to return to work and it's usually difficult to convince me of that.
